We offer shipping services to locations within South Africa. The available shipping methods will be presented to you during the checkout process on our website. We work with reputable shipping carriers to deliver our products. The shipping costs will be displayed during the checkout process before you complete your purchase. Shipping costs will be calculated based on the selected the destination within South Africa.

Upon receiving your order and payment, we will process and prepare your package for shipment. The processing time may vary depending on the availability of the item(s) and any additional customisation or personalisation requested.

Please ensure that the shipping address provided during checkout is accurate and complete. We are not responsible for delays or non-delivery resulting from incorrect or incomplete addresses.

In the event that your package arrives damaged, please contact us immediately. We may require photographic evidence of the damage to initiate a claim with the shipping carrier. We will work with you to resolve the issue promptly.

If your package is not delivered within the estimated timeframe or is deemed lost in transit, please reach out to us. We will make reasonable efforts to resolve the situation and provide a satisfactory resolution.

Return & Refund Policy For In-Stock Items Purchased On our Website

  • Items purchased from Refemme.com may be returned within 7 working days of the purchase provided that the item is unused and in original condition and packaging. This excludes items that are on sale. 
  • Items with custom engraving or that have been customized in any way or form (including ring sizing and shortening of chains and bracelets) cannot be returned or refunded.  
  • Shipping charges are non refundable. 
  • Please email Jessica@refemme.com with your order details (such as Order Reference Number and Date of Purchase) should you wish to return or exchange an item or request a refund.

Repairs on Purchased Custom Jewellery

  • If an item has a manufacturing defect, we will repair it for a fee within three months from the date of purchase.
  • This excludes damage and normal wear and tear. 
  • The item will be assessed for any damage or wear and tear and if found to be the cause of the defect, the repair will be for the customer's account. 
  • Please email us with your order details (such as Order Reference Number and Date of Purchase) to book the item in for an assessment. 

*Please Note: No custom-made Jewellery or any other custom work can be returned or exchanged. Custom work is not eligible for a refund. A non-refundable deposit is required on all custom orders. 

Your Refemme pieces are precious and should be cared for accordingly. It is advisable to remove your jewellery pieces before engaging in daily activities such as showering, applying lotion or perfume, exercising, washing dishes, and similar routines. Before going to bed, place your jewellery on a flat fabric surface to prevent tangling and scratching, and remember to clasp necklaces to avoid entanglement or knotting of the chain.

To clean your diamond pieces, use a soft toothbrush with dish soap and gently scrub the metal and diamonds. Rinse your jewellery under warm running water. Gently pat the jewellery dry with a lint-free cloth and let it air dry completely.

Remember not to use harsh chemicals, avoid excessive cleaning, and consult a professional jeweller if required.

What payment options do you offer?

We accept payment online by Visa or MasterCard. Payment is processed at the time your order is placed, regardless of the lead time on your piece.

Please note we can only accept one form of payment. Payments cannot be split across multiple credit cards.

Can I See Your Jewellery in Person?

Can I customise a Refemme piece?

Many of our pieces are made to order, which makes us able to customise our standard items to fit your personal preferences. We can modify the finish, the precious metal, and the diamonds that we set. Please contact us to discuss all of your modification options.

Are Lab Diamonds Real Diamonds?

Lab-grown diamonds possess identical physical, chemical, and optical properties to natural diamonds.

What is the difference between lab-grown diamonds and diamond simulants?

While diamond simulants like cubic zirconia and moissanite may resemble diamonds, they are not genuine carbon crystals. Simulants lack the identical chemical and physical properties found in natural diamonds, and as a result, they are priced considerably lower than lab-created diamonds.

What is the product lead-time?

How long until my order arrives?

We offer delivery to your door nationwide in South Africa via our secure courier partner. For any international deliveries, please contact us before placing your order.

Do you sell mined and Lab grown diamonds?

Each product specifies what stone and precious metal is used. We incorporate the use of both mined diamonds and lab grown diamonds in our designs. Our mined diamonds are sourced locally from South Africa.

Is it safe to purchase online?

We take every possible precaution with our online sales to ensure that your jewellery item is fully insured and accounted for throughout the entire process. We make use of trusted couriers and remain in touch with you throughout (with details like waybill and tracking numbers, etc.).
